Sermorelin & Ipamorelin Blend

Description

Sermorelin and Ipamorelin are synthetic peptides that, when combined, may act synergistically to stimulate growth hormone (GH) release. GH plays a central role in regulating metabolism, tissue growth, and cellular repair.

  • Sermorelin: A 29–amino acid fragment of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH), known as GRF (1-29). It binds to GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland, stimulating GH secretion and downstream insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) activity.
  • Ipamorelin: A synthetic pentapeptide that selectively targets ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptors in the pituitary. It functions as a growth hormone secretagogue (GHS) without significantly affecting other pituitary hormones such as ACTH or prolactin.

Because their mechanisms differ—Sermorelin via GHRH receptors and Ipamorelin via ghrelin receptors—their combined use may produce a complementary and extended GH response. Sermorelin has a short half-life (~12 minutes), while Ipamorelin exhibits a longer half-life (~2 hours), potentially prolonging GH release.
